In February 2007, a team of technical divers from GOFISHFILMS conducted an extensive film and photography project on the P4Y-2 bomber located in Lake Washington, Seattle.
The intent of this endeavor was to document a popular technical diving site through the use of digital video and still photography and to enlighten current and future divers of this diving gem located 155 feet below the surface. Through the use of video, still photography, and thorough historical research, GOFISHFILMS wishes to educate the populace on a piece of history that, without the tenacity of the local technical diving community, would have been long ago forgotten.
The upcoming GOFISHFILMS DVD will continue our tradition of combing quality photographic documentation, exhaustive historical research, and high tech computer graphics to breathe life into a popular dive site.

Currently we are hard at work creating computer graphics, research and editing for this upcoming DVD, do check back with us for a release date later this summer.

The Diamond Knot, one of the best wrecks in the Pacific Northwest, was sunk in 130 feet of water near Crescent Bay, Washington on August 13, 1947 as a result of a collision. She carried a multi - million dollar cargo of canned salmon (over seven million cans), sorely needed to help feed a devastated Europe, struggling to recover from World War II. After a massive and dramatic salvage effort to recover her cargo, the Diamond Knot was all but forgotten, left to the ravages of time and the harsh, unrelenting currents of the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Until now...
This is the story of two divers who devise a unique plan to revisit the Diamond Knot. Using DPV's (diver propulsion vehicles) and the latest in diving technology, they brave the strong and often unpredictable currents to once again walk the decks of the Diamond Knot.

Directed by James Novaes and produced by GO-FISH-FILMS
